+Extended Care Sub Groups are used to notify staff when one or more students need to participate in a specific activity. Often times these are termed Enrichment. These sub groups may offer specialized instruction for students often provided by an outside resource and often for an additional fee.
+Assigning students to sub groups provides a simple notification to the staff of the specific children to participate in the the enrichment program so that no participating students are overlooked and also allows staff to logically //move// students from one location in the facility to another so that the students' whereabouts may be more closely managed.
+To be effective, sub groups must be set with an automatic dismissal time. If multiple subgroups occur within a service day, then each time for the subgroup will necessitate the creation of a separate sub group. For example, if Karate lessons are offered to the youngest children from 4PM to 5PM and to older children from 5PM to 6PM, two separate sub groups need to be created with understandable group names with a notification time for one group at 4PM and the other at 5PM.
