This is the most misunderstood group type, so read carefully.

This group type is used when multiple families join together to carpool.

Presume three families - A, B, & C - with three separate pick up IDs - 1, 2, & 3

The number of students in each family may vary. For this illustration presume 2 students per family for a total of 6 students.

These students may be joined together into a carpool group. Unlike other groups, carpool groups may only have numeric names and must be 5000 or greater.

Carpool group tags may be printed then distributed to all three families.

On days that all of the students are to be picked up, the carpool group number is presented rather than the individual family pick up id number.
